But beyond the microscope, I have known her in roles that are even more inspiring. As a teacher, she was—without any doubt—my favourite. Her ability to simplify complex concepts, to guide with patience, and to light the spark of curiosity in her students is extraordinary. As a mentor in the lab, she was exceptional: firm, focused, and always pushing students to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and halal earning. And as a humanitarian… she is nothing less than an angel. Always the first to step forward for a struggling student, a needy patients, or anyone who crossed her path with a genuine need. She embodies compassion in action, not just in words. Her influence on my life has been profound, because of her encouragement, her belief in me, and the way she became my ideal personality, I pursued my academic journey with passion and today, by Allah’s grace, I stand as a PhD doctor and biochemist. Her inspiration guided my path more than she may ever realize. Her journey reflects precision, purpose, and profound kindness. People like Dr. Saroona are the quiet pillars of our healthcare system: serving, uplifting, and inspiring without seeking recognition.
